<p>The last time I did a "yellow" tutorial I got a lot of complaints. The yellow was to brown/green and looking back I must agree, it was not bright yellow. So here's a new tutorial with bright yellow.<br><br>Happy Crafting!</p>

Yellow Space Marine Armor II

Base Coat the armor with Mechanicus Standard Grey. Then layer all the armor with Averland Sunset. Make sure your paint is wet. On the picture you see the first layer and it doesn't cover well at all.

On the picture your see 4 layer of Averland Sunset that was watered down! This is so important to get a smooth surface.




Paint a shade in all the edges of the armor with Skrag Brown. Also glaze the bottom of all the panels with a 4:1 mix of water and Skrag Brown.

Paint 80% of the edges with Mournfang Brown and only the deepest parts with Rhinox Hide, about 20%.

Paint the top of all the panels with Yriel Yellow. I use a very thin paint with lots of water so I create a gradient on each panel.

Hightlight all the edges with Flash Gitz Yellow.


Citadel Flash Gitz Yellow

Hightlight all the top spots of the edges with 1:4 mix of Flash Gitz Yellow and Dorn Yellow.
