Working on a techmarine gunner for my Thunderfire Cannon. I think these are still very good in any Space Marine army. So this tutorial is on how I paint my techmarine yellow. Good luck and have fun.

Yellow Space Marine Armor

Citadel Rhinox Hide

So we are going to make a gradient on the armor panels by just mixing more and more Averland Sunset with Rhinox Hide. We start with a 1:4 mix of Averland Sunset and Rhinox Hide.




Citadel  Averland Sunset

Then a 1:2 mix of Averland Sunset and Rhinox Hide. Keep 5% visible of the previous layer.




Then a 2:1 mix of Averland Sunset and Rhinox Hide. Keep 5% visible of the previous layer.




Then a 4:1 mix of Averland Sunset and Rhinox Hide. Keep 5% visible of the previous layer.


Hightlight all the edges with Averland Sunset.


Hightlight 50% of the lines of all the edges with Yriel Yellow.


Citadel Yriel Yellow

Dot highlight all the corners of all the lines with a 1:1 mix of Yriel Yellow and Dorn Yellow.
