<p>A tutorial on how I painted my Volkite pistol on my Lieutenant. Make sure you use wet paints!<br><br>Good luck and Happy Crafting.</p>

Base coat the Pistol with Abaddon Black and leadbelcher. Shade the pistol with Nuln Oil.


Highlight all the silver with Ironbreaker. Then a fine highlight with Runefang Steel.


Highlight the plates of the pistols with Eshin Grey, a fine highlight with Dawnstone and a dot highlight with Administratum Grey.




Paint the deeper parts of the pistol with Phoenician Purple.


Paint 50% of the deeper parts with Genestealer Purple mixed with a lot of water. About 1:1 mix.


Paint 25% of the deepest parts with Dechala Lilac mixed with a lot of water.


Paint de bottom of the deep parts with a 1:1 mix of Dechala Lilac and White Scar. Also at a lot of water and multiple layers.




Paint away all your mistakes with Abaddon Black.


I painted the small lights with these colours: Incubi Darkness, Thunderhawk Blue, Sotek Green and Blue Horror.
