Vampire Wings

The skin is Mechanicus Standard Grey, them layered with Corax White and shaded with Contrast Apothecary White.

Citadel Contrast Apothecary White

Paint the wings with Phoenician Purple, two thin coats.

Drybrush the wings with Genestealer Purple


Citadel Genestealer Purple

Drybush 75% of the wings with Kakophoni Purple. Leaving the top darker.


Citadel Kakophoni Purple

Drybush 50% of the wings with Fulgrim Pink. Leaving the top darker.


Citadel Fulgrim Pink

Drybrush 25% of the wings with a 1:1 mix of Fulgrim Pink and White Scar.


Citadel White Scar

Shade the wings Druchii Violet bringing all the colors more together.


Citadel Druchii Violet

Paint the "fingers or talons" of the wings from dark to light so we get a good contrast. I used Eshin Grey, Dawnstone, Administratum Grey an Corax White.
