<p>I used this technique for the first time on my the Grey Knight armor. I really liked it and tried it on a Deathwatch Kill-team. Really happy with the result and looks really cool on my Deathwatch colour scheme.<br><br>Good Luck and Happy Crafting.</p>

TMM Deathwatch arm

Spray your model with Chaos Black and paint the whole mini with Abaddon Black.


Citadel Abaddon Black

Paint the Deathwatch arm with Grey Knight Steel.


Citadel Grey Knight Steel

Make a mix of 1/3 Contrast Leviadon Blue and 2/3 Lahmian Medium. Shade the arm with this mix.

Citadel Lahmian Medium

Dry Brush the arm with Grey Knight Steel. Make sure the brush is very dry.


Citadel Runefang Steel

Paint the symbol with Khorne Red and the skull with Baneblade Brown.

Shade the whole symbol with Agrax Earthshade.

Paint the symbol with Wazdakka Red and make a rough highlight with Evil Sunz Scarlet. The make a highlight with Wild Rider Red and a fine highlight with Troll Slayer Orange.

Highlight the skull with Karak Stone. Then paint a fine highlight with Screaming Skull.
