Hi there, I have painted my kitbashed Iron templar Lieutenant. The base model is Ragnar I thought you guys would like to see a small tutorial on the Wolf Cloak. Good luck and Happy Crafting.

Space Wolf Cloak

Base coat wolf with Mechanicus Standard Grey.


Citadel Mechanicus Standard Grey

Layer the only the fur with Corax White, 3 thin coats (this took me a whole hour). Paint the nose, the ears and the palm of the claws with Ratskin Flesh.

Shade only the fur with Contrast Apothecary white. Then shade the head and the claws with Contrast Basilicanum Grey.

Drybrush the fur with White Scar, make sure your brush is very dry. Then highlight the head and the claws with Dawnstone followed up with a fine highlight of Administratum Grey. Highlight the nose with Ratskin Flesh.

Now we paint the nails of the claws. First I have painted them with Abaddon Black. A highlight of Skavenblight Dinge followed by a highlight of Stormvermin Fur and a fine highlight with Karak Stone. I painted a dot of White Scar at the top of the nail to create a light effect. Then I painted the eyes with Averland Sunset.
