Hi there, I`m testing with new basing techniques for my AoS vampire army. I got some really nice new tuft. So I wanted to create this snowy Tundra landscape. Pretty happy with the result, this is how I did it. Good luck and happy Crafting.

Snowy Tundra

Put the PVA glue on the base. Push the tuft in the glue.




Sprinkle the modeling gravel over the base.


Glue some small twigs on the base. After the base is dried (couple of hour) tap the bottom of the base so the gravel falls out of the tuft.


Paint he base with Rhinox Hide and dry brush the base with Baneblade Brown.

Dry brush the base with Karak Stone and a fine dry brush with Flayed One Flesh. This makes the dirt look frozen.

Make a mix of PvA glue, snow powder and White Scar. It should be a 33/33/34 mix. Make piles that you then smear.

Paint the edge of the base with a dark color. I used Abaddon Black.
