<p>I have painted a lieutenant/captain for my Iron Templars. Already did a tutorial some tutorials on Red Cloaks but it never hurts to see another one. Did some things different this time.⁠<br><br>Good luck and Happy Crafting.</p>

Red Cloak Lieutenant

Citadel Mephiston Red

Shade it shade the cloak with Agrax Earthshade.

So I use my shades paints very thin. They are more of a guideline for the other paints. So in this step I glazed the shaded part and painted the higher parts with Mephiston Red. This gives a really good base color.




Make a rough highlight on the top of every fold leaving the top dark and the painting bottom bright. Start with Wazdakka Red.

Repeat the process with Evil Sunz Scarlet but only on 60% of the cloak folds. Make sure the paint is wet like 50/50 water and paint.

And again with Wild Rider Red. But now leave like 80% of the cloak. So you only paint the bottom parts.

Paint a fine highlight with Troll Slayer Orange.

Paint a spot highlight with Lugganath Orange at the bottom of each fold. After that I paint a layer of Lahmian Medium all over the cloak to bring all the colors together.
