Necron Sword

Base Coat the sword with Paint Abaddon Black. Paint thick line around the patterns on the blade with Caliban Green. Also make arc shapes on the sharp edge of the balde.




Citadel Abaddon Black

Citadel Caliban Green

Make a mix of Caliban Green and Warpstone glow 50/50. At the water and start to paint on the green but leave 20% clean of the previous step.




Citadel Warpstone Glow

Paint a layer of Warpstone glow over the all the green but again leave 20% if the previous steps clean of paint. Also highlight all the edges with this colour.




Make a mix of Warpstone glow and Warboss Green 50/50. At the water and start to paint on the green but again leave 20% clean of the previous steps. Also highlight all the edges with this colour.




Citadel Warboss Green

Paint a layer of Warboss Green over the all the green but again leave 20% if the previous steps clean of paint. Also highlight all the edges with this colour.




Make a mix of Warboss Green and Moot Green 50/50. Paint a big dot highlight on all the corners patterns and the blade it self.




Citadel Moot Green

Paint a dot highlight on all the corners patterns and the blade it self with Moot Green.




Make a mix of Moot Green and Dorn Yellow 50/50. Paint a small dot highlight on all the corners patterns and the blade it self.




Citadel Dorn Yellow

Paint a really small dot highlight on all the corners patterns and the blade it self with Dorn Yellow. Make the darker parts and the ridges darker with Contrast Black Templar.
