<p>Hi everyone, I'm painting my Judiciar and wanted to give him a Lava Sword. I never have done that so I think I can do it.</p>

The sword has a undercoat of chaos black.


Undercoat the sword with Mechanicus Standard Grey.


Base coat the sword with Averland SUnset. Two thin coats.


Paint the center of the sword with Yriel yellow cover 95% of the center and leave the letters with Averland.




Paint all the edges with Troll Slayer Orange. Use wet paint like a glaze. Building up to color towards the edge.


Paint all the edges with Mephiston Red. Use wet paint like a glaze again and building up to color towards the edge.


Paint all the edges with a rough highlight of Khorne red.


Make a 1:1 mix of Khorne red and Abaddon Black. Paint a highlight and some patterns on the blade.


Paint a random fine highlight on all the sports and edges from step 8 with abaddon black.
