Easy tutorial industrial bases

Get your bases and find some old warhammer boxes your minis came in or a cereal box. To cut out the size of the bases superglue it on. Shiny side UP !!!!!!!

  



Getter all kind of random items in your house you can use for your base. Old headphone wires, a zip tie, bits from your bit box, or the plastic from your Chinese food take out with some cool texture.


Cut out what you want to use and test fit it.

  



If you like it glue it in place. Also use a pen to put press in some lines to give the effect of metal panels on the ground. (yes, one of the reasons for cardboard)

  



Prime your base. Again it brings it all together and you are ready for some paint.

  
  


  



Army Painter Black Primer

Dry brush the base with some metal color. I used steel from Vallejo.

  



Vallejo Model Color Natural Steel 70864

Then you fill in the colors anyway you want. I dry brushed on some vallejo copper in random places and added some AK dark green. Then gave the base a wash with nuln oil.

Optional use the dirty down rust for some extra cool rust effect. And paint your base rim black. And your all done.
