Chest Shield Iron Templar

Paint the shield black with Abaddon Black. Paint the left corner with Mechanicus Standard Grey. Then paint the screws Leadbelcher

Citadel Leadbelcher

Highlight the shield with Corvus Black. Then paint the left corner with Pallid Wych Flesh.

Highlight the shield with Eshin Grey and then with Dawnstone. Highlight the corner with White Scar.

Fine Highlight the shield with Administratum Grey and a dot highlight with Pallid Wych Flesh.

Stick on some transfers you like with some water.




Glaze the transfers with Agrax Earhtshade.

Glaze the transfers again with a 50/50 mix of Agrax Earhtshade and Lahmian Medium. After it dried I saw there was still some air under the transfer. NP we fix this wit Microset, see last picture.

So you should always do this step before the glazing but I had not seen the air. Put a layer of Microset over the transfer, wait a few minutes and push the transfer with a tissue on the surface. The air is then pushed out. The final step is to layer the whole shield with a layer of Lahmian Medium.
