<p>Here is a short tutorial on how I painted the power effect on my storm shields.<br><br>Happy crafting and good luck.</p>

First I highlighted the edges of the inside of the shield with greys.

Citadel Dawnstone

Citadel Administratum Grey

Paint a lightning pattern on the backside of the shield with Incubi Darkness.

Citadel Incubi Darkness

Follow the same pattern with Thunderhawk Blue. Use wet paint and make sure you paint a gradient towards the power point of the power cables.

Citadel Thunderhawk Blue

Again you follow the pattern with Sotek Green and keep painting the gradient in the lightning. Repeat the proces with Temple Guard Blue.

Citadel Temple Guard Blue

Paint a highlight in the lightning with Blue Horror.

Citadel Blue Horror

Paint a circel arround the power point and a dot highlicht on them with Fenrisian Blue. I didn\`t do a very goodjob here try to paint even less effect arround the point then me.
